"But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD." Joshua 24:15

Tubes

Olivia Grace got tubes last Thursday March 4. We had to be there super early and Olivia Grace could not eat which is never a good thing with her. She was doing fine because the place was crawling with lil ones with bed hair like her so she was amused. When we were called back to get her blood pressure and so forth she lost it. The nurse had not even touched her yet and she was going crazy. We were sent back to the lobby because they were so packed they did not have a room open yet so the nurse followed us out there and went over some paper work. Olivia Grace was fine but then yet another nurse had to come out and check her breathing and she went hysterical in the lobby and all the kids looked up and were like OH NO!! Shortly after that we were called back and Olivia Grace and I roamed the halls and she was happy. Then it was time to go back and guess what... she went right to the nurse and never cried and they walked off.
Now we were warned that some of the kids do not read the instructions on the meds they give that are "supposed to keep them from getting irritable" and Olivia Grace was one of those kids. She was furious when she got back to us and was whiny all day.
About 11:30pm we heard her crying so Will went in there to give her patchy and she threw up all over the crib. We cleaned her up and got a bath and Will put on new sheets. We had her in our bed and she started coughing and there it came up again!! So we repeated the process. She slept through the night pretty good, I did not because I kept thinking she was throwing up. The next day she ran a low grade fever and was still pretty whiny. Things are good now and Olivia Grace and I are on our way to North Carolina.
