"But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD." Joshua 24:15

RSV-- strikes again

Olivia Grace has rsv again. She had it the same time last year. She is doing better now but this time she ended up having to have an inhaler 4 times a day to help get rid of the wheezing. Now she has an ear infection but luckily since she has tubes they are draining so only ear drops are needed. However we HATE the ear drops so that is always fun, haha. Unfortunately since Olivia Grace had rsv and was still running a fever she missed the last days of school and Christmas with Will's dad side. She had to miss it last year too, but since she was contagious and there are little ones there it was not safe for her or the others ones. HOPEFULLY next year we will be all good and can make it :).

I can hardly believe that Christmas is in 3 days!! NO I am not ready but am really planning on being haha. This Christmas will be so much fun with her. She loves opening presents so this will be a good time. I had planned on doing 12 days of Christmas with her but that did not work out haha. So I will post some of the pictures later on but as you can see with the one on this post taking morning pictures before school in our Christmas clothing was not something she wanted to do.

Photo Shot and Cookie Party

Back in early November Olivia Grace got to see Santa or (HoHo as she calls him) at Mrs. Kims house. We missed our first appointment because Olivia Grace and I got the stomache bug going around the night before, but luckly Saturday we were able to get in with Coles time. Olivia Grace was terrified of him, just as I thought she would be. She would have NOTHING to do with him. Mrs. Kim was prepared for these times and has Santa hide and then come out behind the kids that don't like Santa and take the picture that way. She was able to get some cute pictures of just Olivia Grace as well :).
Two weeks back (haha yes late on this posting thing again) we had a Cookies for Santa Party, this was really just an excuse for us to get together and decorate cookies with the kids..... meaing photo session. All the girls seemed to have fun decorating, of course Olivia Grace had already eaten most of her cookie before she decorated it. The kids had fun and so did the adults. This will have to be a yearly thing I think :).

Thanksgiving

This year we had two Thanksgivings one with my family in Montgomery and one with Will's family in Gadsden. Of course Olivia Grace loved being with all of her family and eating all of the good food. It was funny because Olivia Grace loves dogs and wanted to play with crimson who of course wanted nothing to do with her. BUT when we went to Sissy and Barry's house their dogs actually wanted play with Olivia Grace but she did not want them to get to close. I am guessing she is not as brave as she thinks she is. On Friday Will and I froze at the game while Olivia Grace stayed with my parents and mommom and aunt da. Then Saturday back home and get things organized and set up for Christmas. She loved helping me put up the tree but since then really has not paid much attention to it. As you can see I only had my camera with me in Montgomery. I have gotten really bad about bringing my camera but not taking pictures :(. Hopefully others have their pictures up so I can grab some. Just after I wrote that I remembered that Aunt JoJo had some on Facebook..

Update 20 months

So have missed a few of the monthly updates but lets see where we are these days..
- TALKING!! lots and lots and some of it we understand but most it is just a guess. Luckily she is very good with body language and motions so we pretty much get what she is saying. She even uses words together we say sentences.

- Loves to talk on the phone

-Loves school and music. She is one of the few that dances in the class. She is so funny when a commercial comes on and it has music she stops what she is doing and starts dancing.

- BIG girl! need i say more (tear, tear) but she climbed out the other day and feel out of her crib so Big girl bed is in the future. Will attempted to put it together but of course all the parts were not there so we are having to wait.

-She is a mimic with everything.

-She is so smart.. well at least her mommie thinks so haha. It is so amazing to see things just clicking in her head.

-Apparently I must do thing in order each morning when get ready because she will start opening drawers and pulling stuff out for me in the morning when she thinks it is time for me to use them.

-DEMANDING -- pretty much sums up her new found vocal abilities

Oh and last she has started the terrible two's a little early. We have a tantrum about once a day these days. I am not sure what sets her off but it is funny most of the time because she is so dramatic. I a sure there will come a time when it is not funny.

Halloween Weekend

Olivia Grace and I went to my parents river place for the weekend to spend time with them, grangran, and Nancy and Tom. Olivia Grace we very friendly this weekend and went to everyone. Normally she is pretty standoffish with my grandfather and aunt and uncle... but not this weekend. Sunday when we were leaving she got in the truck with my aunt and uncle and was waving bye bye to me. She got to carve her first pumpkin... well really Rocky did it because she lost interest in it before we even got to carving. Olivia Grace did indulge me and let me have a photo shoot with her in her duck costume.

That night we went trick or treating to a few houses but she was really confused I think. She got to ride in her wagon and she kept looking around like okay so if I dress up in this HOT outfit I get to one ride in my wagon (which we have had for a year and have only used a few times but she LOVES it) and I get CANDY!! I do have to say I think this might be her favorite holiday..simply because she gets candy handed to her. She had a great time handing out candy to all the kids. As you can see from the pictures she passed out when we came in for the night.

Trunk or Treat with a Duck

Olivia Grace was a duck this year and for the most part enjoyed her costume...except when it came time to go to trunk or treat at the church. Then she deiced that she did not want to wear her duck outfit but we managed to work it out. The rained that night so the fun was moved inside and boy was it crowded and HOT! Olivia Grace had a great time handing out candy to the other kids. Of course she really like the BIG box of candy and kept trying to play with all the candy. I hated that Will could not be there to see her but she had fun! She was able to see her friends Mary Florence and Addie. Super cute in their costumes as well!

Visit to Dothan

So this is going to be one of many post that I write over the weekend in an attempt to catch up. Will has been gone for 5 weeks to Dothan so I have been single momming it so writing a blog was not really something I had time to do. First off heres to all the single moms out there because WOW you must be super tired. I am so glad that Will is back and beyond blessed to have such a wonderful Godly husband... okay sappy stuff over haha.

Dothan visit.. We went to see Will 3 weeks ago for a weekend visit. It was good to see him but since he was on the night shift he was really tired and OG was not too keen on being cooped up in a hotel room. We did go to target, toys r us, and to a pumpkin patch. Unfortunately Mom dressed Olivia Grace like it was 50 degrees outside but it was really mid to upper 80's so we did not stay long at all. We did however get some cute pictures with her and some animals they had there. The funny thing was she was terrified of the hay stack pigs but not of the real animals?? Go figure. The weekend ended very fast and she talked about dada pretty much the whole way home.
